AWSoP on a paper banjo?

Now, what on earth might this sound like?

"... ending with a lovely, minimalist cover of Procol Harum's 'A Whiter Shade of Pale' (played on a fretless paper banjo)"

Read all about singer-songwriter Dan Reeder's "Sweetheart" CD in "German singer finds Sweetheart of a deal in Nashville".

Did anyone hear it?

I bought this from amazon. The "paper banjo" sounds like a very primitive acoustic guitar.

Since this version was advertised as minimalist, I wondered if it would be the only cover I'd ever heard without MF's solo, but NO - Reeder played the solo, almost verbatim, omitting a few 16th notes, four times, on a harmonica (!), overdubbing his humming along on some of it.

A belated Happy New Year to you and thanks for your beautiful banners and wonderful posts.

Best
Joan
